Beyond The Cross
I sensed God ask me, "When are they all going to get over it?". I returned His question with one of my own, "What do you mean Lord?"
He said to me, "Jesus died on the cross for the redemption of sin, that is a fact. However, too many people are getting hung up on the cross. Do you think that Jesus is the kind of man who wants people to feel guilty and dwell on pain and suffering? Or do you think they should acknowledge what He did and move on to the fact that He is alive in Heaven and is more interested in their joy and brotherly love?"
This came after God had shared a revelation with me about the joy of living in the light. He made it clear, that there are two different forms of spiritual light. There is the light of knowledge, which is a white light and many can be deceived that the light of spiritual knowledge is the light of God, which it is not.
The light of Christ is a golden light that shines within, like a ray of sunshine. The only way you can walk in that light is not through knowledge, but by surrendering everything to God and literally not having a care in the world.
Do you understand the meaning of that? It's quite a challenge really, because it doesn't mean to be without a care, but that you should only care about Godly things.
But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men. Mark 8:33
Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone walked in the light of Christ? If no-one had a "care in the world"? I imagine that's what it's like in Heaven. A place full of joy and laughter, love and light.
The stick-in-the-muds cry out, "Harrumph! That sounds very new-age!" That's what the enemy would like you to believe. Remember, the new-age is all about spiritual knowledge and that is the light that they seek, but it is not the light of Christ, the true light of God.
Too many are afraid of anything to do with "the light", due to a few statements in the book of Revelation and they don't realise that they are being led into the shadows, right where the enemy wants them! Remember that Christ is the light of the world and when His light shines within you, not only do you not have a care in the world, but you also feel and whole-heartedly believe that anything is possible.
It's time to go beyond the cross and step up to higher ground. Remember you serve an almighty King in Heaven who loves you and wants you to walk in the true light and live like a king as well.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John 1:4-8
