Less Of Me, More Of You
As disciples, all endeavour to do this, yet none are perfect and all fall short of the glory of God.
While I have experienced many extraordinary things, I'm just an ordinary man and made my share of mistakes in my 55 year journey in life. That's what the journey is about, making mistakes and learning from them, in order to grow in our relationship with God.
God knows we make mistakes, and why we do. The important thing, is to be humble enough to admit and learn from them.
We all have a soul and no soul is any more or less than another. Our soul is simply a spark of eternal awareness and divine inspiration, a morning star of endless dawns and in His eyes, we're all stars.
God IS love and when God (love) gives birth to a soul, He breathes His life into it. Which means, He fills it with the knowledge and awareness of His divine nature of absolute love and the characteristics (fruit) of His true love's absolute, majestic virtuousness and He plants the soul within our heart of hearts.
He does this, so all our inspiration will come from absolute love and be expressed with absolute virtuousness. This is how all those who dwell in His eternal presence, realm and reality live their life. They live for love and aren't ruled by a religious, empirical hierarchy, but by His divine, supernatural presence of absolute love, which governs and dictates our every thought, word and deed, and causes us to be perfect gentlemen and gentlewomen, according to His true love's virtuousness (righteousness).
God IS love and love is not religious, empirical or hierarchical. That's the way of man, whose thoughts, words and deeds are governed and ruled by the instinctual nature of the flesh and its characteristics of pride, vanity, selfish ambition, lust, desire for creature comforts and fear for its survival. The illusion of His kingdom hierarchy, is a test of pride and vanity on a deeper, subconscious level, and many fail the test, because they can't see beyond themselves and their own pride, vanity and selfish ambition (ego).
Self, is the character that is formed from the characteristics of our instinctual nature, that must be overcome and crucified, in order for us to embody the noble character that comes from the majestic virtuousness of God's absolute, true love. The character of Christ.
It's the pride, vanity and selfish ambition of self (the ego), that believes itself to be more or less than others and in their religious pride, many consciously or subconsciously, think they are the only one that has a relationship with God. Yet every soul has a relationship with God, as every child has a relationship with their parents, whether it's close or distant.
Sibling rivalry is an instinctual trait of competitiveness, which competes for the love and favoritism of the parent.
God detests sibling rivalry. He IS absolute love and He loves every soul absolutely. In truth, He can't love any of us any other way, because that's His nature. It's who, what, how and why He is and while His love is far from romantic, it's not without a touch of romance, nor is it without a touch of "tough love."
If you sit on your high horse, thinking you're more loved or favored by God than another, then you better be ready to fall and fall hard. Because sooner or later, He'll knock you to the ground. God presses us down, to iron out the pride, which runs far deeper than anyone is consciously aware of. Its roots run deep into the subconscious and makes you your own worst enemy and the enemy of God (true love), and is the fork that feeds sin (thoughts that have their Source In Negativity).
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.Romans 7:18-20
What I will to do, is God's will and His true will, is the same for me as it is for anyone else, to be a perfect gentleman, according to His true love's characteristic virtuousness, with absolute holiness, peacefulness, gracefulness and graciousness, with absolute equanimity, humility and cooperativeness, without the slightest care in the world and like a little child-at-heart, though far from childish. Anything other than this, is not God's true will, but man's misguided belief, from the lies, deceptions, desires and will of the sinful, instinctual nature of the flesh.
